The men’s and ladies competitions at East Clare continue to be well supported and the past week’s competitions resulted in impressive scores provided by the various winners.
Men’s Captain Michael Ryan, President Patricia Skehill & Women’s Captain Petra Carrick O’Connor The president (Patricia Skehill) and captains (Petra O’Connor and Mike Ryan) ‘drive in’ took place on Sunday at Gort in front of a big attendance.

The Ennis ladies’ Christmas Spirits week two competition was won by Peg Hanrahan (19) with 31 points from Bridie Hanrahan (21) with 29 points with third place filled by Suzanne Deane (17) with 28 points.

THE 2022 CLAREGOLF CHAMPIONSHIP season has been the most successful to date.
The ladies masters 18 hole stableford competition at Woodstock, sponsored by the late Jack Heaslip, was won by Niamh O’Regan with 34 points.
Niall Reynolds has won the golfer of the year competition at Woodstock. He finished with 46 points.
