HOPES OF A 1992 repeat quickly vanished when Kerry had three goals tucked away by half-time, the latest episode of The Water Break attempts to pick up the pieces on where it went wrong for Clare’s footballers.

A first Munster final appearance since 2012 for Clare’s senior footballers proved to be one to forget.

Joining us on the latest episode of The Water Break to look back on the contest are Doonbeg goalkeeper Eamon Tubridy and Kilmihil’s David Lernihan who is currently involved in the coaching ticket with the Limerick U20 footballers.

On the clár:

  • If Clare were the “architects of their destruction” where did the engineering process go wrong.
  • How Kerry successfully exploited Clare
  • Slow start was fatal to the upset
  • Speed more damaging than space in inflicting pain on Clare
  • Isolating Keelan Sexton
  • Bouncing back in the All-Ireland series
