Photograph: Burren Eye Photography After a month’s break over the Christmas and New Year, Clare soccer league action returned at the weekend and after Sunday’s games in the Premier Division, the positions at the top of the table remain unchanged.
REVISED DATES have been issued for games involving Clare clubs in the Munster FA and FAI competitions.

*Mark Roche was among the goal-scorers for Avenue Utd. Avenue Utd have maintained their recent edge over Newmarket Celtic by sending the League and Cup champions out of the Munster Junior Cup.

Newmarket Celtic completed a club double while Connolly Celtic and Bunratty/Cratloe also collected League Cup honours over the weekend.
