COVID-19 has disrupted all aspects of life including sporting competitions, many of which have been cancelled while the remainder have been severely curtailed.
Two new cases of COVID-19 have been diagnosed in Clare as the county continues to have among the lowest incidence rates in Ireland.
Three elderly Clare persons all aged above 97 have yet to receive both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
