This is Clare Roots Society 43rd publication since 2012 while this is Lucilleโ€™s 6th Publication having previously published other works.

In the foreword to the book Cllr Clare Colleran Molloy (FF), Mayor of the Ennis Municipal District describes the book as โ€œgiving an insight chapter by chapter of the various businesses and persons of influence who shaped the fabric of the built heritage of this historic medieval street of Ennisโ€.

This book is part of a unique project involving Clare Roots Society with financial assistance and support from Ennis Municipal District. The main focus is on the families who lived in the houses in the one hundred and thirteen houses in Parnell Street and the sixteen houses on High Street and the Square.

Nostalgic conversations and old memories will be rekindled in the boot, there are 180 photographs in the book.
