The quarter finals of the intermediate football championship at the weekend resulted in wins for the four sides that were tipped to progress to the semi-finals.
As expected Michael Cusacks overcame the challenge of Liscannor in the intermediate football championship on Saturday and in doing so sealed second spot in their group and a place in the quarter finals of the championship.

Kildysart, St Josephs Doora/Barefield and Shannon Gaels have qualified for the semi-finals of the intermediate football championship following their second round victories over O’Currys, Michael Cusacks and Kilfenora respectively at the weekend.
Kildysart’s superior fitness proved decisive as they eeked out a one point win over Corofin in what was a most entertaining intermediate football championship first round game at Cusack Park on Friday evening.
