With the domestic GAA playing season over for 2020 attention is now turning to preparations for 2021. This time of year sees much speculation as to who will be seeking election to executives at club and county levels.

*Niall Gilligan. Photograph: John Mangan Niall Gilligan was unsuccessful in his bid to become a Munster Council delegate while Simon Moroney defeated his ex colleague Robert Frost in a vote to be elected Central Council delegate.
Three contests are expected to take place for various positions at Thursday’s Clare GAA Annual Convention.
