This Wednesday saw the Killaloe Municipal District hold their first meeting since the local elections, Beckha Doyle was frustrated and disappointed there wasn’t a new face among them but she’s adamant her time in politics will come.

Five seats are on offer in the Killaloe Municipal District with five sitting councillors competing with five other candidates, four of which are contesting an election for the first time.
Posters of sitting councillors in the Killaloe Municipal District will not be visible for May’s local elections, their decision has been welcomed by new candidates who are annoyed not to have been consulted about the charter.Â
