SHANNON AIRPORT has teamed up with RTÉ 2FM for a week of flight give aways to all 32 of its summer destinations.

From Monday (April 17th) of this week to Thursday (April 20th), the Shannon Airport dream ticket give-away has been running on 2FM’s four prime time shows, 2FM Breakfast with Doireann Garrihy, Donncha O’Callaghan and Carl Mullan; Jennifer Zamparelli; Tracy Clifford and Drive It with The 2 Johnnies.

To mark the big finale on Friday, Doireann, Donncha and Carl will broadcast the breakfast show live from Shannon Airport from 6am to 9am.

Across the week multiple winners from all four shows will win flights from Shannon Airport by playing The Phrase that Pays. Each day one lucky winner will qualify for the grand finale. The four qualifiers from the week will then battle it out, live on air from Shannon Airport, in a game of Lucky Luggage, to win the ultimate prize of a three-night break to Chicago. The prize will include flights with United Airlines, hotel accommodation in the heart of the city, free parking at Shannon Airport and passes to Shannon’s Boru Executive Lounge for the ultimate start to the dream holiday.

The campaign will also run across social media, with a chance to win flights across 2FM’s channels throughout the week.

Speaking about the partnership with 2FM, Emily Brown, Airport Brand Manager from The Shannon Airport Group said, “We are so excited to partner with 2FM for the Shannon Airport Dream Ticket Give-Away to all our 32 Summer destinations across the US, UK and Europe. We are welcoming more and more passengers from across the country, who have chosen to fly from Shannon Airport, and as our passenger base continues to grow, we have decided to celebrate our Summer Schedule on the national stage with RTE 2FM.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Doireann, Donncha and Carl to Shannon Airport for what will be a morning full of fun for the Grand Finale. We can’t wait to see what the team get up to while they are here, and all will be revealed on Shannon Airport’s and RTÉ 2FM’s social media channels. We welcome early risers to the airport who want to catch some of the atmosphere and excitement”.

Last month, Shannon Airport launched its sizzling summer schedule, offering a choice of 32 destinations to 11 countries across the EU, UK and USA, including six new destinations to Naples, Bezier, Porto, Newcastle and Liverpool with Ryanair, and a daily service to Chicago with United Airlines from May.

To be in with a chance to win tickets to one of 32 destinations from Shannon Airport, tune into 2FM Breakfast with Doireann, Donncha and Carl from 6 to 9am, Jennifer Zamparelli 9am to 12 noon, Tracy Clifford from midday to 3pm and Drive It with The 2 Johnnies from 4 until 6pm.
