NEXT MONTH, Lahinch Golf Club will host the 123rd staging of the South of Ireland Amateur Open Championship.
150 of Ireland’s leading amateur golfers will play in the the 36-hole strokeplay qualifier on Wednesday July 23rd and Thursday July 24th with the top 64 qualifying for the matchplay stage of the competition which starts on Friday July 25th and concludes with the semi-finals and final on Sunday July 27th.
Closing date for entries is midnight Wednesday July 25th.
Lahinch’s world-famous links will host Ireland’s championship which is sponsored by Pierse Motors Volkswagen, based in Tipperary and Ennis.
