COLM COLLINS and his management team have named the Clare team to take on Cork in Sunday’s Munster SFC quarter-final.

Injury rules out Cian O’Dea with his position at wing back taken by Daniel Walsh of Kilmurry Ibrickane with Alan Sweeney missing out. Walsh memorably scored 1-02 on his senior debut against Laois in 2021, this will be his starting appearance in the Munster SFC. He joins an attacking half-back line which includes Ciaran Russell and Jamie Malone.

Cillian Rouine gets the nod at corner back ahead of Éire Óg’s Ronan Lanigan. The Lahinch defender had missed the bulk of the league but impressed on his return against Limerick in the final round. Manus Doherty and Cillian Brennan complete the full-back line.

A midfield pairing of Cathal O’Connor and Darragh Bohannon has been selected with Darren O’Neill listed among the substitutes having recovered from a broken thumb.

Emmet McMahon is named at centre forward with captain Eoin Cleary moving to corner forward. McMahon’s is flanked by Pearse Lillis and Dermot Coughlan while Keelan Sexton at full forward and Podge Collins at corner make up the inside line.

Cusack Park hosts Sunday’s tie which has a 2pm start.
