Clare TD, Joe Carey has slammed the HSE over an “outdated and cumbersome” system for appointing GPs which has resulted in Newmarket-on-Fergus being left without a family doctor.
Residents in Newmarket-on-Fergus are “very worried” as the village is left in limbo without a GP.
GP services are to return to Newmarket-on-Fergus in September.
