Outgoing Clare U20 hurling boss Sean Doyle has said more efforts need to made to financially support the county’s underage sides while reflecting on the end of a five year stint involved at minor and U20 level.
The Banner claimed a Junior double by claiming the 2020 Junior A football championship on Saturday evening with a 15 point win over Ballyvaughan to add to the Junior B hurling title they claimed last year.
Intermediate status awaits the winner of this Saturday’s 2020 junior A football championship final between Ballyvaughan and the Banner which will take place at Hennessy Park in Miltown with a throw in time of 7.15p.m.

With just over a week to go to the opening round of the Munster U20 hurling championship, Clare have been dealt a huge blow with the news that both Mark Rodgers and Shane Meehan will miss the campaign.
