An East Clare councillor has said it is “a constant battle to upgrade footpaths” and encouraged the public to stop parking their vehicles on paths.
Damage to vehicles is occurring due to “dangerous stones” on the roadside verge of the L3148 which is a kilometre from the village of Quin.
Hedgecutting is to be carried out at one of the main thoroughfares to Clooney national school in a bid to improve visibility for motorists.
Clare councillors have appealed for the next speed limit review to be brought forward.
