Seven GAA clubs in Clare have expressed an interest in fielding an additional adult team for 2021.
Ger O’Connell has made seven additions to the Clare senior camogie panel for 2021.
While all the indications are that it will be some time yet before competition returns for many sports, Clare camogie will be ready to go once the green light is given.
Clare GAA has set up a special committee to liaise with clubs as to what competition should be run for players between 17 and 21.
Reaching the final of the Clare intermediate hurling championship has not happened as quickly as clicking one’s fingers, it’s why they will savour the build-up to the occasion and aim to make their outing a memorable one for the right reasons.

Reigning Clare and Munster camogie champions, Scariff/Ogonnelloe have been handed the toughest draw possible as their attempts to retain the McMahon Cup get underway.
Camogie chiefs in Clare are confident both adult and underage championships will go ahead this summer.
