With the weather over the past few days, one would be forgiven for thinking we were back in winter. Ironically, East Clare’s winter league final was scheduled for this weekend.
Officials in all sports club will agree that the future of their clubs depends hugely on having a strong junior section and this is certainly the case at Kilrush Golf Club.
The Winter league is in full swing at Woodstock and the winners of round one which was a rumble were Noel and Dave Moloney, Stephen Barry and Noel Casey junior with 90 points.
The days may be getting shorter as Winter approaches but competitions at Lahinch Golf Club continue to be well supported.
