Big week for Lahinch & Foley wins President’s Prize in Shannon

*Ciaran Coote (second from left) won the Paddy Con Trophy with Barry Lynch. ENNIS DUO, Ciaran Coote and Barry Lynch came up trumps in the Paddy Con trophy at Ennis Golf Club while Adam Roberts emerged victorious when President James P Horgan’s Prize was played for.
*Kilrush Golf Club President Mr Sean Moran presents his prize to the winner David Keane. President Sean Moran’s prize was played for at Kilrush on Sunday when David Keane (12) emerged as the winner with 45 points.
Shannon Golf Club’s JB Carr team became Munster champions when beating Tralee in the final earlier this week.
President Con Woods’ prize was played for at Dromoland at the weekend and it ended with two retired Garda colleagues filling the top two positions.
*Noel Kilkenny presents the Captain’s Prize to John McNeilis. Captain Noel Kilkenny’s prize was played for at Kilrush at the weekend when John McNeilis (18) emerged as the winner with 110.
Presidents Prize Winners in Portumna, Mionica Cormican,(Ladies) Dagmar Ullrich-Werner, President & Vincent Tracey (Mens) Winner. The Lahinch men’s and ladies senior cup teams created a piece of history on Saturday by winning their respective West Munster senior cup finals at Killarney.
Maureen Clune and Rachel Whelan. Lady Captain’s Prizes in East Clare and Kilrush were claimed by Rachel Whelan and Anne Cooper respectively taking the spoils.
