Primary and secondary schools in Clare have been invited to submit applications for the Artists in Schools Residencies Scheme 2021-2022.

Residencies to the value of €1,200 are to be awared by the Clare Arts Office under the scheme which was established to enable primary and secondary schools in Clare to develop projects with professional artists for the benefit of the participating students.

Over 300 residencies have taken place across the county with children participating in visual arts, music, dance, mime, drama, film and creative writing.

Applications can now be made online (https://yoursay.clarecoco.ie/artistsinschoolsresidencyaward2021).

Schools who participated on the scheme last year and schools who are participating in the Department of Education’s Creative Schools and Creative Clusters scheme may not apply for the 2021/2022 round.

Friday October 15th at 5pm is the deadline for applications. Ceara Conway of Clare Arts Office is the designated point of contact for the scheme, she can be contacted via email cconway@clarecoco.ie.
