A NET surplus of €42,485 was recorded by Clare Camogie for 2025.

Detailed reports from a variety of officers to Monday’s annual convention of Clare Camogie at Hotel Woodstock were adopted without any discussion or objection.

Delegates were told that Clare Camogie recorded a net surplus of €42,485.00 in 2025. The total income for the year under review amounted to €231,334. while expenditure for the same period came to €188,848

Gate receipts for the year came to €58,290.48, fundraising amounted to €60,405 registration and affiliations amounted to €47530, sponsorship realised €24,655 while grants of €51,400 were secured.

Team expenses for the year came to €79,228.34 down from €93,455.14 from the previous year.

Transportation cost €17,020.02, catering/hotels cost €14,895.13, medals and trophies cost €6577.00 while personal sports gear cost €18,033.01, down from €35,926.38 in the previous year.

Field maintenance costs came to €26,337.03 while administration costs were €4298.74.

Treasurer John Hogan said, in his written report, said “the necessity to have a larger finance committee is a top priority for next year, the members of which will be more involved in identifying gaps in sourcing grants and identifying additional benefactors and streamlining fundraising activities. The reality is that we need to have financial resources in place to help ensure that the collective effort to achieve All-Ireland success is not hindered by a lack of funding”.
