MICHAEL NASH was among the big names to stand tall for St Joseph’s Doora/Barefield earning them the last quarter-final berth in the Clare SFC and him the Martin Daly Autos / The Clare Echi player of the week.
Since returning from the States, Nash has helped to put St Joseph’s Doora/Barefield run in the Clare SFC back on solid footing.
That was evident from his two points in his first three minutes of championship football when taking to the field against Kildysart in round two.
From then on he has remained one of the most consistent players for The Parish and not alone chipped in with a vital five points in their two point extra time win over Corofin on Friday but provided physicality and leadership to send Donagh Vaughan’s side into the quarter-finals.
