Registering just a single point in the opening half, Kilmurry Ibrickane faced an uphill task as they trailed by seven points after playing against the wind.

Though they managed to raid for two goals and slotted over four points, the East Waterford side led by Emma and Annie Fitzgerald.

It was Kilmurry Ibrickane’s second provincial campaign while Gaultier who were only established as a ladies football club a decade ago were competing in their first Munster run. They will face Cork side Agadoe in the Munster final.

David O’Brien’s West Clare charges kept battling until the final whistle but it was not to be as their campaign came to an end.
