Clare Local Development Company has opened a LEADER funding call for ambitious capital projects that can help create a more sustainable and resilient County Clare.
Grant aid of up to 75% is available, to a maximum of €200,000 per project, for initiatives focused on climate action, biodiversity, circular economy and resilient design.
The call is open to community groups, environmental organisations, charities, farmers, businesses, social enterprises and individuals with practical ideas that can deliver lasting environmental and community benefits.
CLDC is particularly interested in projects that address a clear local need, bring partners together and have the potential to benefit several communities or inspire action elsewhere in the county.
Potential projects may include biodiversity restoration, water conservation, waste reduction and reuse, climate adaptation, nature-based solutions and demonstration projects that can be shared with others.
Expressions of Interest must be submitted by 5pm on Friday, 27 November 2026.
