Edel McMahon

KILMIHIL sports star Edel McMahon will make her debut with the Irish rugby team this weekend.

She got the nod to line out for the Six Nations clash against Italy for the second match of the series on Sunday.

Ireland coach Adam Griggs said: “We are focused on improving our performance for the first of three home games in Donnybrook.”

Ireland suffered a 24-0 defeat against France last week.

Sunday’s game will take place in Donnybrook, Dublin at 1pm and will air on RTE 2.

Fair play Edel!
