THE holder of a winning Lotto ticket worth €89,430 has just over a week to come forward after the ticket was purchased in Miltown Malbay in July.

The National Lottery is appealing to Lotto players in Clare and anyone who visited the county over the summer to check their tickets from the draw on Saturday, July 25.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at McNamee’s Londis on Bank Place in Miltown Malbay on the day of the draw.

The winning numbers were 23, 24, 25, 42, 43 and 46, with bonus number 37.

Lotto players have 90 days from the date of a draw to claim a prize. The winner has until close of business on Friday, October 23 to claim the €89,430 prize.

National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O’Dwyer urged Lotto players across Clare to carefully check their tickets from late July.

“There is just ONE WEEK remaining for the winner of this €89,430 Lotto prize to come forward, with the claim deadline of next Friday, October 23 fast approaching,” he said.

Mr O’Dwyer said the winning ticket was purchased during the peak summer period in Miltown Malbay, when thousands of visitors were travelling through and visiting the area.

“That’s why we’re appealing not only to Clare residents, but also to anyone who was in the county over the summer, passing through or enjoying a break along the west coast, to carefully check their Lotto tickets from the end of July,” he said.

He encouraged players to carry out one final search, checking their cars, the backs of sofas, old jackets and jumpers, handbags, wallets and even suitcases.

“The winning ticket could be hiding in plain sight, and it’s worth €89,430 to the person holding it,” he said.

The National Lottery’s Winnies recently visited McNamee’s Londis to help search for the winner.

Anyone who believes they hold the winning ticket should sign the back of it and keep it safe. They should then contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie. Arrangements will be made to collect the prize at National Lottery headquarters.
