A young man sustained a broken nose and cut lip following an unprovoked attack in Lahinch in the early hours of Sunday morning.

At approximately 00:45 on Sunday morning (June 20th), a young man was targeted in an unprovoked assault at Saddle Lane in Lahinch. The suspect was not known to the individual assaulted and Gardaí believe the suspect was wearing a black or blue jumper.

As a result of the attack, the young man suffered a broken nose and a cut to his lip.

Gardaí have appealed to anyone that was in the area of Saddle Lane which is a residential lane between Lahinch Surf shop and Beach Burger Takeaway and that witnessed this assault to ring Ennistymon Garda Station on 065 6837622 or any Garda Station.
