A MILTOWN MALBAY lottery player is nearly €90,000 richer following Saturday’s National Lottery draw.
A winning Quick Pick ticket was sold in McNamee’s Londis store in Bank Place in the West Clare town on the day of the draw, netting its customer €89,430.
The winning numbers for the draw on July 25th were 23, 24, 25, 42, 43, 46 and the bonus number was 37. Two other lotto players also scooped the same prize with the other winning tickets being sold online Dublin and in Lynch’s Centra, Clonbur, Claremorris, Mayo.
The €8,221,849 jackpot was won by a lotto player in Offaly, the fourth jackpot winner of 2026.
Speaking on the wins, National Lotto Spokesperson Darragh O’Dwyer stated that “Someone in Ireland is now holding a ticket worth an incredible €8,221,849. We’ve also seen three players in Clare, Mayo and Dublin scoop fantastic Match 5 plus Bonus prizes of €89,430 each. We’re encouraging players in County Mayo and County Clare to carefully check their tickets and players in County Dublin to check their online accounts”.
“With a jackpot winning ticket now out there somewhere in Ireland, we’re encouraging players who bought a ticket for Saturday night’s draw to check it carefully. There’s sure to be plenty of excitement as we reveal where the winning ticket was sold over the coming days”, the spokesperson continued.
The National Lottery are advising ticket holders to sign the back of their tickets and keep them safe in order to claim their winnings.
