Paddy Donovan’s first fight of 2020 has been set for August 15th.

Ennis boxer, Paddy will share a card with Carl Frampton and Michael Conlan in London in what will be the fourth fight of his professional career. The bout will be broadcast on BT Sports across the UK and ESPN in the United States of America.

No opponent has yet been confirmed for Donovan’s fight. The 21 year old will be aiming to build on his eye-catching form of 2019 where he recorded three quickfire wins.

Nicknamed ‘Real Deal’, he was due to make his American debut on St Patrick’s Day in New York City but the Michael Conlan headlined card was cancelled.

Trained and managed by Andy Lee, Paddy has been training alongside his brother Edward and brother-in-law James Harty over recent months. A bulk of his training has taken place on Lahinch Beach.
