A CARAVAN and mobile home in Bodyke were burnt out last week.

Gardaí are appealing for the public’s assistance as they investigate the crime which took place on Wednesday last (January 5th). They believe it occurred between 23:00 and 23:30.

Both the caravan and mobile home were parked on Ballydonaghan in Bodyke when they were set on fire. “Both were totally burnt out,” crime prevention officer, Triona Brooks confirmed.

Persons that may have “saw anything suspicious” are asked to contact Scariff Garda Station on 061 922790.
