GLÓR was of the many theatres forced to shut down due to the Covid-19 restrictions, but they are not letting the crisis stop them from entertaining the masses.

glór have curated a series of premier performances live in your own home, starting this Thursday evening at 8pm. 

Visual Arts manager, Sinead Cahill said, “We can’t wait to open our doors to you and welcome you into a great performance or concert – and we know little can compare to the magic of the live performance. 

“In the meantime and to remind us of the incredible artists we have on our doorsteps in Clare and nearby, we have assembled a programme of brief online performances for you to enjoy from the comfort of your own home. Welcome to glór sa Bhaile,” said a spokesperson for the Ennis theatre.

glór sa Bhaile will premiere performances on Facebook and Instagram from some of Clare’s finest artists direct from their homes to yours. This Thursday kicks off with Steo Wall and Jacinta Sheerin, live from their home in Ennistymon. 

“Featured artists over the coming weeks include Katie Theasby, Catherine Ireton, Aodán Coyne and more, and we will premiere in your homes every Thursday at 8pm – so set up a reminder and kick back for some great music, song, tunes and tales from some of Clare’s finest artists,” Cahill added.
