FOUR TEAMS remain in the race for the Jack Daly following the weekend’s Clare senior football championship quarter-finals and all games are dissected on the latest episode of The Water Break.

Joining us to dig into a feast of football are Clare SFC winning coach with St Joseph’s Miltown and current Clare U20 coach, Eoin Murray, former St Joseph’s Miltown boss Maurice Reidy and ex Clare development squad selector Mike Brennan.

Double-headers in Cusack Park on Saturday and Sunday decided the outcomes of the senior quarter-finals with Cratloe, Éire Óg, St Breckan’s and St Joseph’s Miltown advancing to the semi-finals.

Ennistymon sealed their senior status while in the intermediate race, Naomh Eoin, Kilrush Shamrocks, Wolfe Tones and Kilmihil booked their places in the last four.

On the Clár:

  • Cratloe a dangerous side with tunnel focus on football
  • Kilmurry Ibrickane rue the absence of Keelan Sexton
  • Wily Colm Collins shows knowledge is king
  • Extra time scare for Éire Óg
  • Timely wake-up call for champions but a source of inspiration for all challengers
  • Unique style leaves St Breckan’s firmly poised
  • Experience lacking for Lissycasey
  • Leaders come to the fore for Miltown
