MAJOR shocks have brought the TUS Clare SFC to life following the second round of games held over the weekend.

The Clare Echo’s online coverage of the Clare SFC is brought to you with thanks to The Shannon Springs Hotel.

Joining us to look back on the games we have Paul Reidy a Clare IFC winning player and manager with Kilmihil and Mike Brennan of Éire Óg who was part of the Clare U20 football backroom team this season.

Kilmihil’s Festival of Fun kicked off when they produced the shock of the championship when defeating last year’s semi-finalists Ennistymon, Doonbeg managed to rescue a draw vs Lissycasey with Tadhg Lillis getting a goal in the last kick of the game to leave Group 2 wide open.

Successive wins leave last year’s champions Éire Óg and beaten finalists Kilmurry Ibrickane through to the quarter-finals with Cratloe and St Joseph’s Miltown recording their first wins of the campaign.

On the agenda:

  • Interviews with Shane Daniels, Colm Collins, Patrick O’Neill, David Egan, Donagh Vaughan and Maurice Walsh
