A FIFTH All-Ireland title has been secured by Clare’s senior hurlers leaving us on a high for the latest episode of The Water Break.

Recorded at Scariff Bay Community Radio’s studios, the latest episode of The Water Break reflects on Clare’s All-Ireland winning success which saw Brian Lohan’s side overcome Cork following extra time on a score of 3-29 1-34.

Joining Páraic McMahon on The Water Break are 2013 All-Ireland winner Fergal Lynch who previously managed the Clare’s minor hurlers and also Leo Doyle, a former Clare goalkeeper and ex selector with the county’s minor hurlers.

On the Clár:

  • Lifting the entire county
  • Causes for an eleven year gap for All-Ireland glory
  • Rebels scoring threat minimised
  • Coughing up short puckouts costly for Cork
  • Adam Hogan leading contender for Young Hurler of the Year
  • No contest needed for Shane O’Donnell as Hurler of the Year
