THE Clare branch of the Irish Red Cross have done some incredible work helping communities deal with the Covid-19 crisis.

They donated care packages of coffee and snacks to five different nursing homes around the county including; St Joseph’s, Rosemount House, Cahercalla, Ennis nursing home and St Theresa’s nursing home in Kilrush.

They also delivered PPE to Kilrush nursing home, sent from St Joseph’s in Ennis.

Clare Red Cross distributed care packages from IKEA to families in need throughout the county and donated bottled water to people in Miltown Malbay.

They also clocked up a whopping 130 volunteer hours over five days, transporting patients free of charge to their medical appointments around the country.

What an amazing group of people!
