TESCO is hiring for 32 temporary jobs in Clare as part of a festive recruitment drive.

Nationally, Tesco is looking to fill 1,100 temporary roles of which 32 are in Clare. Applications are now open through the Tesco website.

As part of Tesco’s seasonal recruitment drive, the retailer is recruiting helpful and friendly people to join its stores nationwide. Shifts will be available in the early morning, daytime, and evening from November onwards. The retailer has stores in Shannon, Kilrush, Ennis and Ardnacrusha.

Along with competitive terms and conditions, from day one, all people joining the Tesco team will benefit from the retailer’s broader reward and benefits package, which includes virtual GP service, complimentary food and wellbeing first support.

Maurice Kelly, People Director at Tesco Ireland, commented, “These roles will support our existing colleagues to help us deliver the best possible service to customers throughout the festive season and provide new team members with access to an industry-leading benefits package from day one. If you’re not already part of the team and are looking for extra hours or want to give retail a try, this is a fantastic time to join our team and make a real difference in your local community”.

Positions are available nationwide, and Tesco encourages interested candidates to apply online as soon as possible. After Christmas, temporary colleagues will have the opportunity to apply for available permanent roles in existing stores or new Tesco locations planned for the coming year.
