A COMMEMORATION was held in Cratloe last Sunday to mark the death of Daniel Keane who was on board the Titanic ship when it sank.

Blue plaque to be unveiled for Titanic Bugler who married a Kilrush woman
112 years after the sinking of RMS Titanic, a blue plaque will be unveiled for Percy Fletcher, the Tooting Bugler whose young widow Mary Meaney was from Kilrush.
