8 new COVID-19 cases in Clare & appeal issued to avoid congregating at school gates

Clare has recorded eight new cases of COVID-19 and an appeal has been issued to parents to avoid congregating at school gates over the coming weeks.

Clare has reported eight new cases of COVID-19 among the tally of 613 nationwide and 35 further deaths.

Level Five restrictions will remain throughout the Republic of Ireland until the 5th of April, at least, the Taoiseach has confirmed.

An additional 12 persons have tested positive for COVID-19 in Clare among 575 nationally with an extra 45 deaths linked to the virus reported.

Mass testing is to take place at the University of Limerick following a fresh outbreak of COVID-19 cases.

Clare has reported an increase of 16 COVID-19 cases with a further 686 nationally and one additional death.

Clare has reported an additional 21 cases of COVID-19 among 679 nationally with one further death related to the virus recorded.

14 further positive cases of COVID-19 have emerged in Co Clare along with 988 nationally and 26 extra deaths.

Nine new cases of COVID-19 have been diagnosed in Clare among 763 nationally with an additional 28 deaths related to the virus notified.

An increase in COVID-19 cases has been recorded in Clare while 47 further deaths and 901 extra cases nationally have been reported.
