Planning permission for a controversial wind farm in Cahermurphy has been rejected by Clare County Council.
Members of a group opposed to a West Clare wind farm are confident Clare County Council will not give the green light to the development.
A road linking Cree village to Cahermurphy will be considered for inclusion for improvements this year along with a junction approaching Cooraclare.
Clare’s Coillte forest parks and car parks open to all those who live within 5km.
