SHANNON Town Centre’s new owners have one year at the helm under their belt. This week, they speak to The Clare Echo about their plans for the future and outline the importance of aligning their growth with the implementation of the Shannon Masterplan which was published last year.
Autumn 2021 will be remembered as the best autumn in recent memory for grass growth however even with that said we are transitioning the dairy herd from a diet of grass and three kilograms of meal to a diet that by next week will be a trio made up of grass, silage and meal.
A herd belonging to a Newmarket-on-Fergus family has claimed first prize in the Irish Charolais Cattle Society (ICCS) Sucker Herds Competition.
