A community fundraiser in memory of Anne Loftus will take place at The Old Ground Hotel, Ennis, on St Stephen’s Night, Friday December 26th, with all proceeds going to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust.
Music begins at 9.30pm, with €10 admission on the night. The event is being organised to acknowledge the Trust’s support in helping bring Anne home from San Francisco to Ennis following her passing in October 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Anne, originally from Ennis, had lived in San Francisco for 30 years and was widely known for her warmth, humour and love of life.
Entertainment on the night will be provided by a line-up of local musicians including Kevin Glynn (Bass), Trevor Hansbury (Guitar/Vocals), John Hanrahan (Drums), Seanie Vaughan (Sax) and Fergus O’Sullivan (Vocals), with guest performers also expected.
Organisers say the night will be a celebration of Anne’s life and a chance for the community to support a charity that helps Irish families at their most difficult times.
