Shannon Town Centre will host a large screen viewing of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final this Sunday to celebrate and support local stars Brian Lohan, Darragh Lohan, Rory Hayes, and Aaron Shanagher.

Shannon town Centre will be Home to a Large Screen showcasing all the action from Croke park live right in the heart of their courtyard. Not only will the match be on but so will the food as a crew of food stalls and vendors will be on site to keep you fuelled for the day of battle ahead. From burgers & pizza to crepes and ice creams youโ€™ll be spoiled for choice at Shannon town Centreโ€™s matchday event.

Lee Hayes, representing Shannon Town Centre, shared, “We could not let such a weekend pass without marking the huge achievements of our local players and managers. Although there is a screening event in Ennis, we felt it was important to host something locally, given the significant involvement of Shannon residents in this year’s team and the immense pride our community has in supporting them.”

The event will feature a large screen set up in the courtyard of Shannon Town Centre, along with vendors, food stalls, and entertainment suitable for all ages. “Tickets for this yearโ€™s final are in short supply, and many families might find it challenging to travel with small children. We hope this event will allow everyone in our community and the surrounding areas to experience the excitement of the day and cheer on our local players,” added Hayes.

Cllr David Griffin (FF) expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “It’s great to see a local event to celebrate the players and support the team. People are immensely proud of the entire team, especially those local players and management who have brought us to Croke Park for an All-Ireland Final.”
