Seoidín pendant for Pieta House

Last year, Seoidín ran a campaign to support Breast Cancer Awareness, enlisting the help of some of their loyal followers as well as some of Ireland’s best known faces, who have championed the jewellery brand over the last few years. Designing a special edition pink pendant, Seoidín sold the piece across their 4 shops and on their online shop, seoidin.com and raised an incredible €6,600 for Breast Cancer Ireland.

Due to the success of last year, Maureen Harrison, Seoidín’s founder, did not want to let the opportunity pass to raise money and crucially awareness for yet another great cause. As part of Mental Health Awareness month, this October, they decided to run a campaign to highlight the importance of kindness, to spark a conversation to help stomp out the stigma surrounding mental illness and to support mental health charity Pieta House.

It’s been an undeniably difficult year or so for everyone Maureen says. Its bound to have taken a toll on peoples mental health. We wanted to use this years campaign to simply start a conversation and maybe encourage people to reach out if they are feeling low.”
The special edition piece for this year’s campaign is a gorgeous and uniquely “Seoidín”, emerald green gem pendant. It can be purchased in any Seoidín shop in Dublin, Limerick or Clare or online at seoidin.com for €100. All proceeds will be donated to Pieta House, who do incredible work providing life-saving information, support and crucially hope to those who are suffering.

Our overarching message for this campaign is simply to be kind to one another continues Maureen. We are all emerging from what has been such a challenging time and still continues to be difficult for so many. We are simply saying be kind to one another, listen to one another and if youre suffering, reach out. You are not alone and there is support available.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, why not show your support, help a great cause and add a beautiful, timeless Seoidín piece to your collection?
