The third heat was the fastest of the three as the Seamus McMahon of Cooraclare owned Lissatouk Robbie led at the second bend on his way to a two-length success the fourth of his career over Hollywell Eagle in 29.18. Hollywell Eagle was just about best away in the centre of the track ahead of Lissatouk Robbie with Rydar Rocket close up on the wide outside.
Rounding the bend Lissatouk Robbie moved round the leader to show in front and straightening to run down the back he quickly set sail for home and led by three lengths at halfway. Approaching the penultimate bend, Hollywell Eagle briefly looked as if he might launch a second effort but the leader was in command and although he came back to his rivals close home the son of Deerjet Sydney and Lissatouk Peggy was always in command of proceedings.
The fastest time of the night was recorded in the A3 graded sixth contest as the Eoin Clancy owned Bayview Wild registered his fourth career success as he made all from his favourite trap one berth to defeat Caislean Diane by six lengths in 29.02. Away smartly the Stephen Murray of Sixmilebridge trained runner railed well as he rounded the opening bend to lead from Island Ivy and Caislean Diane entering the back straight. Racing along the back the son of Ballymac Wild and Bayview Flyer extended his advantage to over five lengths as Caislean Diane took up the chase but Bayview Flyer was gone beyond recall as he sauntered home all alone up the home straight.
