QUIN’s Kate McInerney has been announced as a new partner with MHP Sellors Solicitors.

A native of Cratloe, Kate is a long-term resident of Quin. She has been appointed as Partner with MHP Sellors which was named Law Firm of the Year at the Irish Law Awards this year. She has progressed through the ranks in key litigation roles across the practice.

Kate is an experienced defence litigator who acts for and on behalf of a number of insurance companies at all court levels. She also possesses considerable experience in general litigation matters including recovery matters, defamation, judicial review and commercial disputes.

Ballina based Claire Benson has also joined the firm as a solicitor to its established litigation team. Originally from Antrim, she previously worked with a mid-tier Dublin based firm and specialises in defence litigation and employment law. She brings a wealth of experience in complex litigation and employment matters, combined with a practical understanding of organisational needs and will support the delivery of litigation services to clients across the Mid-West.

Commenting on the appointments, Stephen Keogh, Managing Partner, said, “Both colleagues bring strong capability to the firm and to our clients. Their appointments align with our ongoing focus on strengthening and solidifying our legal services in Clare, Limerick, and beyond”.

Ennis native, Sarah Jane Whyte joined MHP Sellors in its growing public and regulatory department, earlier this year. She previously trained with the firm.

They join more MHP Sellors’ team of more than fifty staff based in offices in Ennis and Limerick.
