Kilnamona Development Association has formed tasked with four primary actions.

Established following a public meeting at the end of March, the group is at the very early stages but has identified a number of primary targets having analysed results of a public survey conducted in the past few months.

It is aimed to make the village stand out for people travelling from Ennis to Ennistymon, find a location to build a playground, put in a place of programme of events in the community centre and the surroundings of the parish are to such a standard that Kilnamona is viewed as an attractive place to live.

“Our goal is to put Kilnamona on the map for the general public who uses the road from Ennis to Ennistymon. Landscaping, building of a memorial, adding a bus stop are our primary focus,” a spokesperson outlined.

A public event will take place on September 15th where a full presentation of the group will be completed.
