Dates have been set for the start of club ladies football championships in Clare with the draws already made.

Monday night football will be in place for the senior and intermediate championships. The opening round is to commence on August 10th, with games taking place for the next five weeks in succession. The semi-finals are pencilled in for September 7th with the final to take place on Sunday September 20th.

Similarly the Junior A and B campaigns will be played on Monday nights. U16 games are set aside for Tuesday evenings with U12 games scheduled for Sundays. Dates for the U14 Championship will be ratified at the July County Board meeting scheduled for July 21st.

Last year’s senior champions Kilmihil will not meet finalists Banner Ladies until the knockout stages of the competition, provided both sides prevail from their respective groups. Teams named first will have home advantage.
