Feakle’s sharpshooter scored a whopping 0-19, more than the entire O’Callaghans Mills side as they prevailed in the East Clare derby 0-28 0-18.
It’s the highest tally McGrath has ever hit at senior level. He scored 0-8 from play as Ger Conway’s side reminded everyone that they continued to be a strong force in the top flight.
He’ll be back in action for Ger Conway’s side as they look to record successive victories, they face Clooney/Quin on Sunday in a repeat of last year’s quarter-final.
