A Mayoral Reception took place last week in recognition of the exploits of Clare representatives in the Special Olympics Ireland Games.
More than 100 athletes, volunteers and family members attended the function which took place at Áras Contae an Chláir. Hosted by Cathaoirleach of Clare County Council, Cllr Michael Begley the event honoured the locally based athletes who participated in the Special Olympics Ireland Games held in Dublin during June.
