*Table quiz winners Kilmurry McMahon NS with their trophies

INIS Cathaigh Comhaltas branch held their inaugural National school table quiz on Friday last in Teach Ceoil, Kilrush.

The host and quizmistress was Karen Coughlan, Múinteoir at Ennis CBS, while the committee who ran the quiz were Seán Mac Mathuna, Anthony Henchy, Vincent O’Halloran, and Anne Hayes.

Winners:

  • 1st Place: Kilmurry McMahon National School (Ciara O’Connell, James O’Connell, Jamie Downes, and Iarlaith Dillon)
  • 2nd Place: Lissycasey National School (Faye McNamara, Olive Halpin, Seán Hick, and Pádraic O’Flaherty)
  • 3rd Place: Connolly National School (Gavin Cleary, Síofra Laffan, Anna Sullivan, and Hannah Lynch)
  • 4th place: Lissycasey National School ( Aoife Haugh, Saoirse Donnelly, Louise Geary, and Amy Finucane)

Inis Cathaigh Chairman Tony Henchy presented the Cup to Kilmurry McMahon team Captain James O’Connell.
