THIS week’s Intensive Clare podcast with The Clare Echo sees Éire Óg’s three-in-a-row winning manager Shane Daniels joining Eoin Brennan and James Lynch to reflect on the historic achievement.

We also talk Intermediate finals as Clarecastle & Corofin aim to return to the top tier; Oscar Traynor, camogie & ladies football, Ennis Women and Men’s Rugby – and more.

0:00 – 8:28 – Intro

8:28 – 58:29 – Éire Óg’s three-in-a-row winning manager Shane Daniels comes into studio to reflect on his side’s historic county senior football accomplishment with Kieran Madigan along with also analysing titles for Banner, Parteen-Meelick, Doonbeg and Ennistymon.

58:29 – 2.15:10 – New Clare Oscar Traynor Manager Adrian Walsh joins Paul Kennedy and Dean Russell to assess the county’s chances in this year’s All-Ireland Inter-League Soccer Competition along with last weekend’s FAI Junior Cup, this Sunday’s Munster Junior Cup and all the league action.

2.15:10 – 3.06:55 – Munster is on the minds of Clare’s representatives in adult camogie and ladies football, with Truagh Clonlara and Kilmurry Ibrickane leading the provincial senior charge. Ann-Marie McGann and 2024 Cork All-Ireland Intermediate winning manager Donie Daly preview a battle of the last two Munster Senior Club camogie champions Truagh and St. Finbarr’s while all four LGFA matches are also previewed.

3.06:55 – 3.55:57 – There are plenty of county finals yet to come, with the focus on hurling this weekend as Corofin and Clarecastle battle for Premier Intermediate honours, Inagh-Kilnamona and Banner compete for the Intermediate crown while Newmarket and Ballyea face-off for Junior A silverware. Corofin (Joe Cahill) and Clarecastle (Derek Dormer) are represented while Pa Kelly (Inagh-Kilnamona) is the man in the middle to adjudicate.

3.55:57 – Ennis Women and Men’s Rugby momentum continues; St. Flannan’s College soar to All-Ireland Sevens Camogie success while Clare’s involvement on the national soccer scene is also detailed.
