Irish singer-songwriter, Gavin James paid a surprise visit to Ennis National School last week.

Pupils and teachers were treated to a mini concert from the twenty seven year old as he performed two of his singles released earlier this year, Always and Glow.

Members of staff told The Clare Echo that Gavin was “very generous with his time and posed for lots of photographs”. The Dubliner delighted students of Ennis National by informing them they would have no homework.

From Ennis, he travelled to Dolans in Limerick to launch his new album Only Ticket Home.
